Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site recognise your browser on the next request — which is how you stay signed in as you move between pages.

2. Why You Will Not See a Cookie Banner

Consent banners exist for cookies that are not essential — analytics, advertising, and cross-site tracking. AirHive uses none of those. Every cookie listed below is strictly necessary to operate the Service: without them you could not sign in, and we could not protect your session from forgery. Cookies of that kind do not require prior consent, so asking for it would add a click without giving you a real choice.

If that ever changes — if we add analytics or any third-party tracking — we will ask for your consent before setting those cookies, and refusing will be as easy as accepting.

3. The Cookies We Use

NamePurposeDurationCategory
sessionKeeps you signed in. Without it every page would ask for your password again.30 daysStrictly necessary
csrf_tokenProtects against cross-site request forgery — it lets us prove a request came from you and not from another site acting in your name.30 daysStrictly necessary
modulesRecords which product modules your organization has enabled, so the interface can be assembled before the page loads.30 daysStrictly necessary
workstation_sessionIdentifies a paired warehouse workstation or tablet, so a floor device stays signed in to its station between shifts.30 daysStrictly necessary
admin_sessionUsed only by the AirHive support team when accessing the administration panel.30 daysStrictly necessary
is_impersonatingSet only while an authorized AirHive support agent is viewing an account on your behalf. It drives the warning banner shown during that session and remembers where to return afterwards.30 daysStrictly necessary

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.

4. Browser Storage That Is Not a Cookie

Your interface preferences — language, theme, table density, sidebar state — are kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. They never leave your device automatically and are not used to identify or track you. Clearing your browser data removes them and resets the interface to its defaults.

5. Third-Party Services

Four third-party services run alongside the Service and may process technical data about your visit:

  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring. It receives an internal user identifier (never your email address), your organization and role, and the technical details of a failure so we can fix it. It also samples ordinary page loads to measure how the Service performs, so it hears from your browser even when nothing has gone wrong.
  • Vercel Speed Insights — aggregated page performance measurement.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the sign-in form. Its script loads with that page, which means Cloudflare sees your IP address.
  • Esri (ArcGIS) — satellite map tiles shown in the yard map and the 3D view. Your browser requests the tiles directly from Esri, which means Esri sees your IP address.

None of them is used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and none of them sets any of the cookies listed above. Each is listed, with the data it handles, in the sub-processor table of our Privacy Policy.

6. Controlling Cookies

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Be aware that blocking the cookies above will prevent you from signing in — they are what makes an authenticated session possible, so the Service cannot function without them.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we add or remove cookies we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be announced through the Service.

8. Related Documents

For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy. For the rules governing use of the Service, see our Terms of Service.
